How we treat your data
Here at The Culture Builders we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your contract with us, provide you with information, products and services that you have requested from us, or to share information that we feel will be of legitimate interest to you.
As you may know, we like to maintain our relationships by sharing information, case studies, inspirational or motivational materials, and opportunities that we think are valuable and relevant to you.
We will never share your information with a third party unless you explicitly request us to do so.
If at any time you change your mind, just let us know your preferences in whatever way is easiest for you and we’ll take the required action.
If you need to update your details, or you are not already receiving items like those mentioned above from us and would like to, please let us know your preferred contact details on an email to firstname.lastname@example.org – we’ll need your: Full Name; Company; Job Title; Mobile Phone Number; Email Address; and Business Postal Address.
We handle your information in accordance with applicable GDPR UK data protection laws.
We protect your personal information and will only provide it to third parties:

Your contact information and data are stored on our secure server in accordance with data protection laws and are accessible to specifically authorised employees of The Culture Builders. All operators are employed under contracts that set down strict confidentiality regulations governing their behaviour. Your rights around your data
We maintain strict adherence to the GDPR guidelines on your rights regarding your data. At any time you make requests concerning access, portability, restriction and erasure of your data with us. Security and Data Protection (including suppliers)
We maintain strict security standards with a view to preventing unauthorised access to your data. We use leading technologies such as (but not limited to) data encryption, firewalls and server authentication to protect the security of your data. The Culture Builders observe these privacy standards and any third parties who work with and for us (as they may do to provide services connected to our work) are required to observe these privacy standards under NDA.
Our website and the Profiling Tool Portal use “cookies”, a technology that installs information on a website user’s computer to permit the website to recognise future visits using that computer. Cookies enhance the convenience and use of the website.
For example, the information provided through cookies is used to recognise you as a previous user of the website, to track your activity at the website in order to respond to your needs, to offer personalised web page content and information for your use, to automatically populate online forms with your personal information for your convenience, and to otherwise facilitate your website experience. You may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may affect your use of this website and your ability to access or use certain website features.
You are responsible for keeping your computer, phone or tablet (or any other device you use) secure both physically (by ensuring that nobody else handles it) and electronically (by avoiding loading or running any software on it that might pose a security risk), and keeping all passwords secret.

Note for Customers of our Profiling Tool
“Processing,” means using software on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the European Economic Area under UK data protection standards.
The Profiling Tool obtains the information you, or an administrator on your behalf, provide when you access and use the system. We may also use the information you provide to us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and other items of legitimate interest.
Data is stored on our secure server in accordance with data protection laws – no data collected from the tool is used beyond the remit of the system to provide reports to individuals and those licensed to manage the system.
If you complete a profiling questionnaire you will be asked to provide some personal information. We collect and store this information in order to perform statistical analyses and to provide reported outputs. This information is kept strictly confidential.
By completing a questionnaire, you agree that the data you give when completing the questionnaire can be used by The Culture Builders to help improve future versions of the questionnaire. No individual will be identified or identifiable in this process. If you do not want your data to be used in this way, please do not complete the questionnaire.
Questionnaire responses will be compiled, and findings will be made available to you in the form of a report. Some reports will need to be fed back to you by an accredited feedback facilitator. The feedback facilitator may be a Culture Builders employee or a third party instructed by you, The Culture Builders, or your employer. If you do not want your data to be used in this way, please do not complete the questionnaire.
